Brian Shaw
DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY
MEET
DR. JAE CHOI PT, DPT
Dr. Jae is a Korean-American Doctor of Physical Therapy from Bergen County, New Jersey, specializing in performance-driven rehabilitation for athletes and active adults. As a football and track coach, he has spent years working alongside athletes and learning from top coaches in both sports, and he brings that coaching perspective into every treatment plan.
Dr. Jae’s clinical expertise are the shoulders and hips, and some of his favorite cases are ACL reconstruction and rotator cuff rehab. He builds these programs around return to performance, not just pain relief, so you’re strong and confident when you get back to your sport or your training.
Before opening his own practice, Dr. Jae spent about three years as a traveling physical therapist, treating patients in clinics coast to coast. That experience exposed him to a wide range of clinical approaches and patient populations, and he now draws on the best of each to address your specific goals.
In June 2026, he opened his practice inside Iron Lair Gym in Apex, NC. By July, it was ranked the #1 physical therapy clinic in Apex on [BusinessRate]. He credits that to the like-minded partners and community around him.
Whether you’re coming back from surgery, working through a nagging injury, or just want to move and perform better, Dr. Jae will build a plan around your goals.
